Details of the program are changing, but here is what I know so far:
Tai Chi for Veterans is a new program from the Veterans Administration Community Care Network - or VA CCN. Veterans with a referral from a VA healthcare provider take classes for FREE. A company called TaijiFit manages this program and will be available to help providers and vets navigate the process. Anyone (vet or civilian) without a referral can also take the class for a fee.
TaijiFit's mission is to enroll 90,000 Veterans into 3000 classes by the end of 2020. The greater Philly area was the first to roll out, and I am currently scheduling classes in Upper Bucks and Hunterdon counties. Frenchtown, NJ is the first location.
